I believe that all sixty-six books—all the way from Genesis to Revelation—is the Word of God. I believe in the Bible’s integrity and inerrancy and in the fact that we need to get back to its teachings.
We have been a long time getting back to God’s Word. Many Christians don't make it a daily read and mediation! Progress has been slow. How long will it take for them to come to the realisation that they cannot live without the Word of God"?
People today are getting very tired of listening to politicians who make promises, promises and more promises, and then don’t fulfil them. They cannot fulfil them—yet they promise.
We also have all kinds of new schemes coming from degreed professors and leaders in every field. There is only one thing wrong: they won’t work. Maybe in desperation the United Kingdom will get back to the "Word of God" and in the midst of the storm say with Paul as he stood on the deck of a ship and was able to say "sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me." Acts 27:25
Here is a Text from the “Word of God" that has been on my mind for a month or so. This I see as so relevant for the Church today!
Had this Church not done well? My, they had stood for the faith! Contended for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Then suddenly they were hit with this bombshell. Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee! Some would have said what is he talking about, some angry, others would have walked out, maybe a few, just a few I think who had their spiritual ears open would a bowed to the “Word” spoken!
These are serious words, words that cut deep, words that forceably bring us to a suddent stop like hitting a brick wall.
These Words are of such as is spoken of in Heb. 4:12
“ For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.
NEVERTHELESS I HAVE SOMEWHAT AGAINST THEE, BECAUSE THOU HAST LEFT THY FIRST LOVE. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Rev 2:4-5
